Download the service pack 1 for Visual studio 2005 express edition from the microsoft site.
SP1 contain many bug fixed and 70 to more enhancement to Visual studio family of products to make developers productive.

if you have both Visual Studio 2005 and Express edition than be prepared to wait for couple of hours for it to actually install completely. It takes a while to complete the installation.
